I photographed a tranquil moment at the 1831 CE Mount Auburn cemetery, a serene sanctuary with exquisite landscape design, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. The red fall colors contrast with green, and the branches made this photograph an addition to my first fall collection of that year.

Sanjay Marathe is a photographic artist with over 30 years experience. He blends technique and creative vision in his landscapes, cityscapes and nature themes. Born in 1966 in Mumbai, he grew up in Kanpur and Mumbai in India. His journey with photography began in the age of film cameras at the young age of thirteen, evolving from a hobby into a lifelong passion. He got a degree in commerce and secured an admit to the Govt. law college in Mumbai. But when he realized that photography was in his heart, he gave up law study and chose to persue his passion.
