On a misty winter morning, as the sun was about to break through the dark clouds, I captured the golden shimmer. In the distance, the New Mumbai hill range and the Ghansoli buildings can be seen beyond the shiny creek in the foreground.
About Sanjay Marathe
Sanjay Marathe is a photographic artist with over 30 years experience. He blends technique and creative vision in his landscapes, cityscapes and nature themes. Born in 1966 in Mumbai, he grew up in Kanpur and Mumbai in India. His journey with photography began in the age of film cameras at the young age of thirteen, evolving from a hobby into a lifelong passion. He got a degree in commerce and secured an admit to the Govt. law college in Mumbai. But when he realized that photography was in his heart, he gave up law study and chose to persue his passion. After a successful thirty-year career in commercial photography, Sanjay decided to focus on photography as art. He developed a unique style that seamlessly blends photographic technique...
