I captured this serene moment just after sunset in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. Sanjay Marathe is a photographic artist with over 30 years experience. He blends technique and creative vision in his landscapes, cityscapes and nature themes. Born in 1966 in Mumbai, he grew up in Kanpur and Mumbai in India. His journey with photography began in the age of film cameras at the young age of thirteen, evolving from a hobby into a lifelong passion. He got a degree in commerce and secured an admit to the Govt. law college in Mumbai. But when he realized that photography was in his heart, he gave up law study and chose to persue his passion.
